little known fact: The song title “we’re really jazzed about the gig” came from when Scott and I toured down there a year ago and kept saying that. They told us they wrote a song that references their trip to jersey the summer before that, when we first met the Wavelets kids, and that they were going to use it as a title.

“Spent most of Jersey underground,

drowning in new friends and safer sounds.”

refers to when they played Scott’s basement, the very first Dads show ever. Dads has written a companion song which will be released on the LP.
